"Made in Saudi Arabia" program to promote loyalty to national product: Alkhorayef

Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef said that building the mental image of Saudi products is a priority for the "Made in Saudi Arabia" program, which represents a key gateway to marketing the Saudi product in various global markets.
 

In his speech at the "Marketing Forum" sessions held in Riyadh, Alkhorayef indicated that the program aims to promote a culture of loyalty with regard to purchasing national products and giving them preference over imported ones, according to Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
 

The minister also pointed out that the launch of the Saudi Exim Bank, the "Made in Saudi Arabia" program, and the presence of the Saudi Export Development Authority are key factors that helped provide logistical support and financial guarantees to Saudi exporters and international buyers, to ensure the development and diversification of Saudi exports, and increase their ability to compete in global markets in various sectors.
 

The Saudi Exim Bank helped increase the number of countries to which products are exported to 50 countries, topped by China and India. It has also provided loans to Saudi exporters at a total value exceeding SAR 8.95 billion, the minister said.
