Saudi banks raise investments in Treasury bonds by SAR 3.1 bln in September

Saudi banks’ investments in Treasury bonds increased by SAR 3.1 billion month-on-month (MoM) to SAR 468.4 billion in September, new data from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) showed.

 

Accordingly, Saudi banks' investments in Treasury bonds rose by SAR 30 billion since the beginning of current year.

 

SAMA’s foreign assets rose by SAR 18.2 billion in September to around SAR 1.8907 trillion.
