Bank Albilad shares hit highest close since 2006

Bank Albilad stock rose today, Nov. 9, to its highest price since 2006 – or in 15 years – at SAR 46.70.

 

The stock closed today's session 5% higher at SAR 46, the highest closes since 2006, with a traded volume of 7.5 million shares.

 

Thus, year-to-date (YTD) the stock gained nearly 60%.

 

The bank's board of directors recommended increasing the capital to SAR 10 billion from SAR 7.5 billion through 33.3% bonus shares.

 

Bank Albilad was established in November 2004 and listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) on April 30, 2005.

 

The bank offers various Shariah-compliant banking, financing and investment activities, in addition to asset management, and securities brokerage via its subsidiary Albilad Capital.
