MAWANI says SABIC’s watchtower begins operations at Dammam’s King Abdul Aziz Port

Saudi Ports Authority (MAWANI) announced today, Nov. 10, the commencement of operations at the watchtower of Saudi Basic Industries Corp (SABIC) at King Abdul Aziz Port, Dammam in cooperation with Saudi Global Ports Co.

 

The tower is the first watchtower of operations, MAWANI said in a statement, adding that work is ongoing to add major companies to this project in the coming period.

 

Equipped with the state-of-the-art technology, the new watchtower’s team is comprised of representatives of MAWANI, Tabadul Co., SABIC, and Saudi Global Ports. In order to develop ports and logistics services, MAWANI continues its efforts to invest in infrastructure, to support growth plans and provide an attractive investment environment.

 

The tower supports and watches SABIC’s operations at Dammam port, ensures truck timings, watches container loading, and ensures the completion of the required customs X-ray inspection systems, the statement added.
