Southern Cement shareholders to vote on audit committee formation on Dec. 19

Southern Province Cement Co.’s shareholders are set to vote on the formation of audit committee, during the ordinary general assembly meeting (OGM) that will be held on Dec. 19, according to a bourse filing.

 

They will also vote on the committee’s duties, work regulations and remuneration of its members for the new term, starting from Jan. 1, 2022 until Dec. 31, 2024.

 

The candidates are Ahmed Ali Abdul Karim Al-Luhaidan (independent), Mansour bin Abdulaziz Al-Saghir (non-executive), Jaser bin Abdullah Aljaser (independent), and Abdulhameed bin Saleh Al Khalifa and Adeeb bin Muhammad Aba Nami from outside the board.

 

Shareholders registered in the Tadawulaty services will be able to vote remotely on the items of the assembly, starting from Dec. 15 until the end of the OGM.
