NEOM Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Nadhmi Al-Nasr, said that OXAGON will be the city’s industrial hub, logistics service center, and a gate to global trade markets.

This will be through its strategic location near the Suez Canal on the Red Sea coast, as it will be a vital artery connecting NEOM and Saudi Arabia, in general, with import and export movement globally, Asharq Al-Awsat reported.

OXAGON is developing an integrated port and supply chain system connected to a global network that will feature one of the world's most modern cargo transport facilities. This will provide an enormous number of value-added services, in practice.

Al-Nasr also indicated that OXAGON will demonstrate how industry and logistics, which operate with 100% clean energy, can reconfigure manufacturing processes using advanced technologies, optimized, innovative and clean investment for land and marine areas, protect nature, and thus provide exceptional life.

On Nov. 16, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Chairman of NEOM, announced the establishment of NEOM Industrial City (OXAGON), which represents another step in NEOM’s masterplan. It aims to provide a new model for future manufacturing centers, as part of NEOM’s strategy, according to data compiled by Argaam.
