Saudi Arabia’s Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) and the Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf).

The MoU stipulates that electronic delivery application workers who are registered at the commission, and who obtained the freelance work certificates from the HRSD, will receive financial support after reaching a certain number of monthly orders, according to a statement.

The MoU aims to encourage the Saudi youth to diversify their sources of income, in line with the growth in the delivery applications through two approaches that offer financial support at total of SAR 3,000 per month for each applicant.
