Russia says committed to its plans with OPEC+: Report

The Kremlin said today, Nov. 23, that Russia remained committed to fulfilling its OPEC+ obligations, according to a Reuters report.

 

President Vladimir Putin had no plans to contact OPEC+ partners despite talk of key consumer countries releasing their strategic oil reserves, it noted.

 

The United States is expected to release crude oil from its emergency stockpile, as part of its plan it with major Asian energy consumers to lower energy prices, the report cited a source as saying.
