Alkhorayef Water signs SAR 43.1 mln maintenance deal for Hail water treatment plant

Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co. (AWPT) signed, on Oct. 21, an operation and maintenance contract for Hail Al Hamemah water treatment plant with the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture.

 

The company said in a bourse filing that the 36-month contract is valued at SAR 43.1 million.

 

AWPT received the contract on Nov. 24, after completing the signatures of all concerned parties.

 

The financial impact of this contract is expected to appear as of the third quarter of 2021.

 

AWPT was awarded the contract after submitting the best technical and financial offers for the fourth consecutive decade, noting that it has been doing these works since 2011.

 

There are no related parties to the contract.
