Al Hogail approves Municipal Licensing Regulations on Practicing Professions, Crafts

Majed Al Hogail, Saudi Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing, approved the Municipal Licensing Regulations on Practicing Professions and Crafts, the official gazette Umm Al-Qura reported.

Under the regulations, the employer is not allowed to hire any person who does not have a license to practice the profession or craft. In addition, any natural person may not practice any profession or craft in accordance with the Saudi classification of professions published on the ministry’s website unless he obtains a license to practice the profession or the craft. The employee or craftsman is obligated present his license when needed.
