Maharah Human Resources Co. said Saudi Arabia’s decision to allow direct entry for travellers from a number of countries will have a positive impact on its business and growth.

In a statement to Tadawul, Maharah said some of the countries are among the main manpower-providers.

The impact is expected to reflect starting Q1 2022, it noted.

Maharah also put in place many preventive measures to ensure all precautionary and approved preventive measures are applied.

Last week, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior allowed the direct entry for passengers coming from all countries provided that they receive one dose from COVID-19 vaccine in the Kingdom, as of Dec. 4, Argaam reported.

The ministry also allowed direct entry for travellers from Indonesia, Pakistan, Brazil, Vietnam, Egypt and India – without the need to spend 14 days outside these countries before entering the Kingdom – starting from Dec. 1.

Five-day institutional quarantine procedures will apply for the travellers.
