Saudi Arabia, France confirm importance of boosting economic ties, exchange of expertise

Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Mohammed bin Salman received France's President Emmanuel Macron at Al-Salam Royal Palace in Jeddah, where they discussed the historical and strategic ties between the two countries in all fields, Saudi Press Agency reported.
 

The two parties confirmed the importance of strengthening cooperation and mutual interests, which adds new promising prospects to the strategic partnership between the two countries.
 

They also agreed on the importance of boosting the economic partnership, the private sector participation, exchange of expertise, development of human capabilities, and capitalizing on the opportunities stemming from the Kingdom's Vision 2030 as well as France 2030 plan in several sectors of common interest.
 

Moreover, the two sides stressed the importance of following up the implementation of the balanced economic partnership through mutual investments between the private sector in the two countries.   
 

They highlighted the importance of cooperation between the two countries to study the opportunities of developing clean hydrogen production in the Kingdom.
