Nazaha investigates 657 accused in criminal, administrative cases last month

The Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) launched investigations last month (Rabi’ Al-Thani) against 657 accused individuals in administrative and criminal cases, after conducting 6,459 oversights visits.

 

Nazaha arrested 250 citizens and residents, including employees at the Ministries of Defense, Interior, Health, Justice, Municipal, Rural Affairs & Housing and Education, for their involvement in bribery, power abuse and forgery.

 

The authority also called for reporting any suspicions of financial or administrative corruption in order to protect and preserve public funds.
