Kuwait's sovereign fund invests $2 bln in listed, unlisted firms in Saudi Arabia

Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) has nearly $2 billion worth of investments in Saudi Arabia, Al-Qabas newspaper reported, citing sources.

 

These investments covered listed and unlisted stocks across various sectors in addition to other businesses.

 

The Kuwait authority also participated and saw promising investment opportunities in the initial public offering (IPO) of Saudi Tadawul Group.

 

Further, KIA is mulling a number of investment options in the Kingdom across various sectors over the coming period, in the light of Vision 2030.
