Abo Moati reappoints Chairman, Vice Chairman

Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abo Moati for Bookstores Co.’s (Abo Moati) board of directors reappointed Saad Abo Moati as Chairman of the board of directors and Mohammed Al-Otaibi as Vice Chairman for the three-year term, started Dec. 16, 2021, according to a bourse filing.

 

The board, during its meeting on Dec. 18, also formed the nomination and remuneration committee, to be headed by Omar Al-Rayes. Other members include Saad Abo Moati, Saeed Omar Basaeed and Ahmed Naja Altheabi.

 

In addition, board members named a board secretary, and company’s representatives at the Capital Market Authority (CMA) and the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul).

 

The formation of the audit committee for the new term was approved by the ordinary general assembly (OGM) held on Dec. 14.
