Tadawul trading screen
Qualified foreign investors (QFIs) were net buyers of nearly SAR 3.1 billion worth of stocks on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) in the week ending Dec. 16, according to data issued by the bourse.
Saudi corporates’ net purchases reached approximately SAR 3.1 billion last week, while government institutions sold SAR 10.8 billion worth of stocks.
Last week, stc and the Public Investment Fund (PIF) announced the successful completion of the secondary public offering of stc’s ordinary shares. The PIF sold 120 million shares in stc, representing 6% of stc’s capital. The Kingdom’s sovereign wealth fund raised proceeds of SAR 12 billion from the secondary public offering, with the final offer price was set at SAR 100 per share.
