Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) will soon announce decisions to localize the media, consulting, and entertainment sectors, with more to follow, according to Majed Al-Dahwi, Deputy Minister at HRSD for Saudization.

In one year, the Saudization rate increased from 21.5% to 23.6%, Al-Dahwi said, indicating that the participation rate of Saudi females in work increased to more than 34%, exceeding targets of Vision 2030.

The ministry adopted a policy to localize quality occupations and activities that accommodate large numbers of citizens and are characterized by functional development to improve work, in addition to areas that depend on competitive advantages, as well as partnerships with government agencies, supervision entities and private sector facilities in relation to localization.
