Al-Etihad Insurance gets SAMA approval on adding insurance activities

Al-Etihad Cooperative Insurance Co. received the approval of the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) on adding protection and saving insurance to the company’s license, according to a bourse filing.

 

Thus, the company is licensed to provide several activities, namely general insurance, health insurance and protection and saving Insurance.

 

The relevant financial impact will likely appear on sales as of Q1 2022, the statement added.
