Saudi Arabia started today, Dec. 30, reimposing wearing face masks and applying social distancing in all closed and open places, in addition to events and activities.

The Ministry of Interior urged individuals to abide by precautionary and preventive measures, as well as the approved protocols to ensure their safety, indicating that legal procedures and penalties will be applied to violators.

All procedures and measures are subject to continuous assessment by specialized health institutions in Saudi Arabia, depending on the developments in the epidemiological conditions locally and globally.

The ministry stressed the need for all individuals to continue receiving vaccination doses.
