Trading halt placed on Alahli Takaful today to begin stock delisting

The Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) placed a trading halt on shares of Alahli Takaful Co. (ATC), as of today, Jan. 12, to begin the stock delisting procedures, according to a bourse filing.

 

The Securities Depository Center (Edaa) will deposit the consideration shares in the accounts of the eligible ATC shareholders, two business days after the merger announcement, and within six business days maximum.

 

Arabian Shield Insurance Co. announced today, Jan. 12, that the merger with ATC is effective, pursuant to which all ATC assets and liabilities will be transferred to Arabian Shield, Argaam reported.
