Ministry of Environment says wheat imports allocated to Saudi investors abroad raised

Saudi Arabia increased the percentage allocated to local investors abroad, from the Kingdom’s wheat imports, to 20% from 10%, according to the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture.

 

The step is part of the Kingdom’s efforts to achieve food security and will be implemented as of FY2022/23, added the Ministry.
