Ahmed Al-Rajhi, Saudi Minister of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD), said Feb. 22 of every year will be an official holiday for the public and private sectors, on the occasion of celebrating the establishment of Saudi Arabia.

 

On Jan. 27, King Salman issued a royal decree, announcing Feb. 22 as an official holiday, to commemorate the foundation of the Saudi state, according to data compiled by Argaam.
