Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) announced that the local airports witnessed growth in air cargo volume to reach more than 653,000 tons in 2021 compared with a year earlier.
In a statement, the authority indicated that it took several initiatives that contribute to developing the Kingdom’s air freight system and give the logistics sector the necessary flexibility to increase its capacity to 4.5 million tons of goods by 2030.
