MIS opens board membership nominations today

Al-Moammar Information Systems Company (MIS) opened today, Feb. 20, the nomination process for board of directors’ membership for the upcoming three-year session, starting July 18, 2022.

Nominations will be received until March 22, MIS said in a statement to Tadawul.

The nomination will be in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Law issued by the Ministry of Commerce and the Corporate Governance Regulations issued by the Capital Market Authority (CMA), in addition to the policies, standards and procedures for membership in the board of directors approved by the general assembly of the shareholders.

Nominees will be elected through cumulative voting during the next general assembly, the date of which will be announced later, after obtaining necessary approvals from the competent authorities.
