Amiantit-SISCO associate Tawzea owns 23% of water treatment consortium

Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (Amiantit) and Saudi Industrial Services Co. (SISCO) announced that its associate, International Water Distribution Co. Ltd. (Tawzea), owns 23% of the consortium that will provide water and environmental treatment and maintenance services in the southern region of Saudi Arabia.

 

In separate filings to the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul), the companies said the financial impact of the project is expected to reflect in Q4 2022, with no related parties.

 

The companies will announce any future developments in due course.

 

On Feb. 21, National Water Co. (NWC) signed a contract worth SAR 399 million with a Saudi-Spanish consortium to operate water and environmental treatment services in the Southern Cluster (Aseer, Al-Baha, Jazan and Najran regions), Argaam reported.

 

Tawzea, which has a capital of SAR 146 million, is equally owned by SISCO and Amiantit.
