Nama Chemicals appoints Abdullah Alfaifi as audit committee Chairman

Nama Chemicals Co.’s board of directors decided, on Feb. 23, to appoint Abdullah Jaber Alfaifi as the Chairman of the audit committee replacing Faiz AlAhamri, the company said in a bourse statement.

The decision is effective until the end of the current board term on Aug 3, 2024.

Alfiafi holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting and other certificates, and has more than 30 years of experience in finance and corporate governance, in addition to holding many leadership positions in the Kingdom.

The decision is pending approval of the company’s general assembly.
