The Saudi Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf) delivered an exceptional performance in 2021, with up to SAR 7-8 billion revenue, Director-General Turki Al-Jawini said in a TV interview.

These revenues were used to support the private sector entities, while some funds were invested in time deposits or Murabaha facilities.

Hadaf offered services to more than 2.2 million citizens last year and provided job opportunities to 280,000 Saudis in the private sector institutions, of which 55% were females and 45% were males.

However, those who are registered at the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI), receive a pension income, or have a commercial register will not be entitled to receive financial support from Hadaf but are eligible for other services. Meanwhile, eligible beneficiaries will be receiving financial support for two years maximum.

Hadaf set three strategic goals to measure the fund performance: supporting human capital development through market-oriented training programs, enhancing the balance between market supply and demand through the different employment channels, and sustaining employment for the most prone categories.
