Health ministry launches Seha Virtual Hospital to serve over 130 hospitals

The Ministry of Health announced today, Feb. 28, the launch of Seha Virtual Hospital, which will provide its advanced specialized services to more than 130 hospitals across the Kingdom.

 

The ministry added that this hospital uses the latest innovative technologies to provide specialized services and support health facilities in the Kingdom, as it provides more than 30 specialized services.

 

The ministry stated that the hospital is one of the priority initiatives in the Health Sector Transformation Program that is part of serves the Vision 2030, reinforces the culture of virtual medicine in health authorities, and provides the best virtual health services at the national and global levels.

 

It indicated that the hospital is aimed to promote virtual healthcare, achieve innovation in the health sector, develop resources, achieve sustainability and ensure institutional excellence.

 

The services to be provided by the hospital include emergency and critical consultations, specialized clinics, multidisciplinary committees, support medical services, and home care services, it added.
