10 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Tuesday.

1) Najran Cement Co. reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 165.6 million in 2021, down 18% year-on-year (YoY).

2) Bawan Co.’s net profit after Zakat and tax surged 89% YoY to SAR 170.3 million in 2021.

3) Arabian Cement Co. reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 161.5 million for 2021, a drop of 13% YoY.

4) Zahrat Al Waha for Trading Co. reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 64.6 million for 2021, up 59% YoY.

5) Arabian Cement’s board of directors recommended a 15% cash dividend for the second half of 2021, at SAR 1.5 per share, amounting to SAR 150 million.

6) Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co.’s (Amiantit) shareholders approved reducing the company’s capital by 69.06% to SAR 99 million from SAR 320 million.

7) Saudi Automotive Services Co. (SASCO) liquidated 99% of its investment portfolio, generating a profit of nearly SAR 8 million from selling shares.

8) The Capital Market Authority (CMA) imposed a fine of SAR 80,000 on Tihama Advertising and Public Relations Co., due to its violation of Article No. 30 of the Listing Rules, and paragraph (d) of the Part “General Instructions" of the Instructions for Companies announcements.

9) Shares of Scientific & Medical Equipment House Co. will begin trading on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) as of today, Feb. 28, under the symbol 4014 and ISIN code SA15GGQ1UN19.

10) Brent crude on Tuesday gained $3.06 to reach $100.99 per barrel. WTI crude also increased 68 cents to reach $96.4/bbl.
