The MoU signing ceremony

Advanced Metal Industries Cluster Co., Ltd. (AMIC), a subsidiary of Tasnee, signed, on March 7, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with National Industrial Development Center (NIDC) to strengthen cooperation on localizing the value chains of titanium in order to support the aviation industry in the Kingdom.

NIDC will help AMIC develop and localize the value chains of licensed titanium qualified for the aviation industry and other advanced industries, which serve as one of the key outputs of the aviation initiative that enhances the national strategic goals of the industry, based on the Kingdom’s mineral resources.

Mutlaq Al Morished, CEO of Tasnee, said the company gave a great priority to this vital industry. It continues to invest in the development of titanium value chains and the localization of its technologies in the Kingdom. The company still aims to cooperate with all parties to position the Kingdom in an advanced rank globally in this industry, in line with Vision 2030.

This will also enhance the Kingdom’s defense capacities, raise competitiveness of Saudi products and also increase the reach of “Saudi Made” products regionally and globally.
