eXtra audit committee member resigns, board names new member

United Electronics Co.’s (eXtra) board of directors approved the resignation of an audit committee member, Abdul Moaty Abdul Hady, as of March 7, citing personal reasons, according to a bourse filing.

eXtra’s board of directors appointed Mohammed Al-Obaid to replace him, as of March 7, until the end of the current board term on May 12, 2024.

The appointment is subject to the approval of the upcoming general meeting.

Al-Obaid holds a bachelor’s degree in administrative sciences from King Saud University in 1990, and he has extensive experience in the fields of governance and compliance.
