Walid Abukhaled, CEO of Saudi Arabian Military Industries

Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) is planning acquisition of foreign firms, CEO Walid Abukhaled told Asharq TV.

 

The company seeks partnerships with leading defense companies across the world, to build an integrated system, and support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that play a key role in enabling SAMI to be a strategic partner in the localization of military industries.

 

The target partnerships aim to transfer technology and knowledge, as well as develop capabilities to win new contracts, and meet the demand of the local and Middle East markets, or even worldwide, Abukhaled said.
