Saudi Arabia to host Global Entrepreneurship Congress with participation of 180 countries

Under the patronage of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monshaat) will organize the Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC) 2022 at King Abdul Aziz International Conference Center, The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh in coordination with the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) from March 27-30.  

  

Riyadh was chosen by the GEN to host the conference, as the Kingdom was ranked first out of 45 countries in the following categories: Good Opportunities to Start a Business, Ease to Start a Business, Business Response to the Pandemic, And Government Response to the Pandemic, according to the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor Index. 

  

The GEC, themed “Rethink - Reboot – Regenerate” will bring together delegates from 180 countries and startup champions from all around the world to discuss economic and policy challenges around the development of entrepreneurial ecosystems, in addition to lesson from the COVID-19 pandemic.
