SAMA seeks public input on draft rules of financial consumers' protection

The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) invited the public to send their suggestions and feedback on the draft principles and rules of the financial consumers' protection, to enhance transparency and ensure wider participation. Stakeholders and the public will provide suggestions and observations on the draft via the Public Consultation Platform affiliated to the National Competitiveness Center.

 

This initiative is part of SAMA's on-going efforts to preserve the rights of consumers in getting fair and transparent treatment in financial services, commensurate with global best practices in this regard.

 

Contributors are expected to provide their input on the draft within 30 days from the publication date. All observations and suggestion will be studied to reach the final form of these rules. The draft is available on the Public Consultation Platform (link).
