Hamad Al Al-Sheikh, Saudi Minister of Education, said that the scholarship program aims to send 70,000 Saudi students to the best 200 educational institutions and universities abroad by 2030.

The scholarship strategy was based on the future needs of the Kingdom to achieve its aspirations, Al-Sheikh said in a press conference.

This strategy is one of the most important enablers to achieve the goals of the human capability development program (HCDP) which aims to enable Saudi males and females to compete globally.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman launched, on March 7, The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program, which marks the beginning of a new era in the scholarship program that will contribute to enhancing citizens’ competitiveness through upskilling the human capital in new and promising sectors.
