Saudi Global Ports Co. (SGPC) announced that Riyadh Dry Port commenced operations under the name of SGP Riyadh.

 

The handover between both companies was successful. It came shortly following the signing of the 30-year build, operate and transfer (BOT) agreement between Saudi Railway Co. (SAR) and SGP on 13 April 2020.

 

SGP and SAR commissioned more than 100 new handling equipment units to expand operations.
