Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Sunday.
1) Umm Al-Qura Cement Co. reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 78 million in 2021, a dip of 34% from SAR 117.7 million a year earlier.
2) Middle East Paper Co. (MEPCO) reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 220.9 million in 2021, a rise of over 10 times from SAR 20.2 million a year earlier.
3) Lazurde Company for Jewelry reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 22 million for 2021, against a loss of SAR 120.2 million in the year-earlier period.
4) Saudi Investment Bank (SAIB) plans to issue SAR-denominated Tier 1 sukuk with a total amount not exceeding SAR 2 billion through private placement.
5) City Cement Co. reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 160.3 million in 2021, down 27%, compared to SAR 220.5 million in 2020.
6) Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co. (AWPT) signed a contract with National Water Co. for SAR 141.2 million, excluding the value added tax (VAT).
7) Umm Al-Qura Cement Co.'s board of directors recommended distributing a 2.5% cash dividend, or SAR 0.25 per share, for the second half of 2021.
8) Electrical Industries Co.’s (EIC) board of directors recommended a 10% cash dividend for 2021, at SAR 1 per share, amounting to SAR 45 million.
9) AXA Cooperative Insurance Co.’s board of directors recommended a 10% cash dividend for 2021, at SAR 1 per share, amounting to SAR 50 million.
10) Brent crude on Friday gained 1.21% to settle at $107.93 per barrel. WTI crude also increased 1.67% to reach $104.70/bbl.
