Jahez International Company for Information System Technology's online services will cover the GCC region by end of 2022, said Hamad Albakr, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

Jahez plans to launch its online food delivery platform in an unnamed GCC country by April, while its regional expansion plans will be fulfilled by 2023, he added on the sidelines of the Retail Leaders Circle MENA 2022.

Jahez’s food delivery platform currently operates across all Saudi Arabian cities. Its new “Pik” retail app, however, covers Riyadh, Jeddah, Al Qassim and Ash Sharqiyah, and will come online in Hail within a week.

The transport sector accounts for up to 1 million delivery orders per day, more than 50% of which are fulfilled by delivery applications. In addition, each client makes an average of seven orders per month and up to eight orders per day.
