A bundle of mega and qualitative investments will be announced during the Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC) 2022, most of them in the Kingdom and some globally, the Small & Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha'at) Governor Saleh Al-Rasheed, told Argaam.

Many agreements and initiatives are expected to be signed under the umbrella of the forum, he said.

Al-Rasheed expected investments to be announced directly through the Small and Medium Enterprises Bank (SME Bank) or its affiliated companies and programs, Saudi Venture Capital Co. (SVC), Kafalah Program or the indirect lending program, in addition to some initiatives from the Social Development Bank (SDB) to support entrepreneurs.

He stated that the conference, held at King Abdul Aziz International Conference Center in Riyadh, will discuss events, opportunities, and aspirations after the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as its impact on life.

In addition, the conference will focus on the contribution of entrepreneurs in overcoming the pandemic.
