Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih

All components of investment are available in Saudi Arabia, where “a fertile ground” for global investors and companies is offered, Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih said.

Addressing a panel discussion at the Global Entrepreneurship Conference, the minister stressed that the geo-strategic significance of Saudi Arabia is an added value, attracting investors, innovators, entrepreneurs and scientists.

Investment in the Kingdom previously relied heavily on gas and oil, and this is an excellent opportunity to think about increasing, developing and diversifying investment options in a bid for diversification and innovation through the proposals presented to achieve investment growth, said Al-Falih.

He indicated that the Kingdom's Vision 2030 has created excellent investment initiatives, highlighting the Crown Prince's leadership of the country and its economic development, which contributes to making the Kingdom a hub for international business.

The Kingdom's wise leadership works to facilitate investment laws and create appropriate returns for investors, companies and entrepreneurs, stated the minister.

Al-Falih also highlighted the Kingdom's keenness in the application of rules and regulations, indicating that it is interested in investing and supporting entrepreneurship.

Al-Falih joined forces with Minister of Commerce Majid Al-Qasabi to build a simple and easy entrepreneurship environment to attract participants from all over the world and quickly establish projects and investment licenses.

By 2030, there will be more equality and job opportunities for women, who will play a very important role in entrepreneurship, he added.

He also stressed that tapping into Saudi Arabia would be a great opportunity not only for business, but for stability, investment and a better future, stressing that the Kingdom's economic development will also reflect positively on the entire region.
