Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC)
The third day of the Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC) witnessed the conclusion of agreements worth more than SAR 6 billion ($1.6 billion), with the aim of supporting the entrepreneurial sector and providing more financing solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Organized by the Small & Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monshaat), in cooperation with the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), the conference witnessed the conclusion of several agreements and launch of many investment initiatives.
The Small and Medium Enterprises Financing Guarantee Program (Kafalah) signed several cooperation agreements with the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, the Ministry of Sports, the Cultural Development Fund, the Tourism Development Fund, the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP), King Saud University, and Al-Jouf University.
Monshaat signed cooperation agreements with the Council of Cooperative Health Insurance, the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, as well as Saudi Food & Drug Authority (SFDA), to support and empower entrepreneurs and SMEs.
In addition, Banque Saudi Fransi (BSF) signed an agreement with Saudia.
