Wafrah appoints Khaled Alshammari as CEO

Wafrah for Industry and Development Co.’s board of directors decided, based on the recommendation of the remuneration and nomination committee, to appoint Khaled Zaid Alshammari as CEO, effective today, April 10.

 

In a statement to Tadawul, Wafrah said the board also decided to end Khaled Salih Alamoudi’s assignment as acting CEO.

 

Alshammri holds a Bachelor’s of Science (Chemical Engineering) and Executive MBA, (KFUPM). He has an experience of over 25 years in the field of industry and strategic planning at executive levels in different sectors and with companies such as SABIC and others, within Saudi Arabia and outside.

 

In January, Wafrah's board approved the appointment of Khaled AlAmoudi as acting CEO, Argaam earlier reported.
