Middle East Healthcare Co. (Saudi German Health) started on April 10 receiving patients at the Saudi German Hospital in Jeddah, the company announced in a bourse filling.

The company received the final license from the Ministry of Health on April 6 to operate the Saudi German Hospital in Jeddah with a capacity of 20 beds.

It clarified that all the necessary tests for the medical and construction systems were complete.

In addition, the medical and administrative staff necessary to start the actual operations were available.

Saudi German Health affirmed that any development in its financial results will be disclosed in the quarterly announcements, expecting to incur pre-operating expenses.

In September 2020, Saudi German Health signed a lease contract with Bait Al Batterjee College for Medical Sciences and Technology Co., a related party, worth SAR 7 million, Argaam earlier reported.

The duration of the contract is four years, starting April 1, 2021, to March 31, 2025, with the possibility of renewal.
