Gulf General shareholders elect board members for 3-year term

Gulf General Cooperative Insurance Co.'s shareholders elected members of the board of directors for the upcoming three-year term, starting April 11, 2022, during the ordinary general assembly meeting held on April 11, according to a bourse statement.

 

The elected board members include Abdelwahab Abukwik (independent), Ahmed Khogeer (independent), Jamal Abdullah AlDabbagh (non-executive), Majed Diaauddin Kareem (non-executive), Saud Abdulaziz AlSulaiman (non-executive), Taher Omar Agueel (non-executive), Mohammadzaher Salahuddin Almunajjed (non-executive), Faisal Adnan Baassiri (independent), and Mohamed Husnee Jazeel (non-executive).

 

The shareholders also approved the formation of audit committee for the same term, with members including independent member Jawdat Musa Alhalabi, and members from outside the board –Mohammed Hasan Daghistani and Faisal Rashid Faruqi.
