Saudi holdings of US Treasuries down to $116.7 bln in February

Saudi Arabia’s holdings of US Treasuries reached $116.7 billion in February 2022, down $2.7 billion month-on-month, new data released by the US Treasury showed.

 

The Kingdom retreated to the 18th place among the largest holders of US debt in February.

 

Saudi Arabia’s holdings of US Treasuries were distributed among long-term bonds worth $101.27 billion, representing 87% of the total, and short-term bonds worth $15.46 billion, accounting for 13%.
