8 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Thursday.

 

1) Bank Albilad reported a net profit of SAR 490.3 million for Q1 2022, a rise of 25% from SAR 392.8 billion in the year-ago period.

 

2) Leejam Sports Co. (Fitness Time) turned to a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 46 million in Q1 2022, versus a net loss of SAR 7 million in the year-earlier period.

 

3) Arriyadh Development Co. (ARDCO) reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 139 million for Q1 2022, a 25% increase from a profit of SAR 111 million in Q1 2021.

 

4) Halwani Bros. Co.’s shareholders approved the board’s recommendation to pay cash dividend at 20% of capital, or SAR 2 per share, for 2021.

 

5) Amlak International for Real Estate Finance Co.'s shareholders are set to vote on an 8.5% cash dividend for 2021, during the OGM to be held on May 17.

 

6) Shareholders of Leejam Sports Co. (Fitness Time) approved authorizing the board of directors to pay interim dividends on a semi-annual or quarterly basis for 2022.

 

7) Saudi Investment Bank's (SAIB) shareholders delegated the board of directors to distribute interim dividends on a semi-annual or quarterly basis for 2022.

 

8) Brent crude rose 0.91% to reach $107.77 per barrel. WTI crude added 0.19% to reach $102.75/bbl.
