Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co. (AWPT) signed a contract with Saudi National Water Co. (NWC) to carry out all the works related to the King Abdullah Project for Zamzam Water in Makkah, including maintenance and operation, the company said in a bourse filling.
According to the contract, AWPT will manage, operate and maintain all project’s facilities, including all components related to Zamzam water well, preform plant, bottling plant and distribution center for 60 months.
The financial impact of the contract started in Q1 2022, the statement noted, adding that there are no related parties to the agreement.
In January, AWPT announced that it won a contract worth SAR 195.85 million to operate and maintain King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Project for Zamzam Water in Makkah, Argaam reported.
