Yanbu Cement Co. will shut down the fourth production line for scheduled maintenance in line with the necessary routine and preventive maintenance standards, the company said in a bourse filing today, May 22.

The shutdown will raise the reliability level and achieve the company’s future operational plans.

The maintenance work, which is included in the cement producer’s work plan and budget for the current year, is expected to last for approximately 25 days, starting immediately.

The move will have no impact on Yanbu’s financial statements.

Sales prices and customer service will not be affected during the shutdown, given the strategic inventory maintained by the company, the statement noted.
