EVs expected to prevail in Saudi Arabia in near future: Al-Falih

The latest electric vehicles (EVs) will be assembled in Saudi Arabia, with a focus on direct investment in related sectors, Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih said.

 

Al-Falih, speaking to the World Economic Forum in Davos, indicated that in the near future, a large proportion of cars and vehicles in Saudi Arabia will be electric.

 

He pointed out that the electric vehicle assembly plant, whose contract was signed recently, will be one of three potential plants to be built in Saudi Arabia.
