Saudi ports most efficient worldwide, says MAWANI

The Saudi Ports Authority (MAWANI) said that King Abdullah Port ranked 1st on the list of 370 global ports. Jeddah Islamic Port and King Abdulaziz Port came in the 8th and 14th spots, respectively on the Container Port Performance Index 2021.

 

This success came despite the COVID-19 pandemic fallout, MAWANI said in a statement showed.

 

The efficient performance was coupled with improving operating and logistics services and widening sea transport lines, along with strengthening the linkage of local ports with peers in the East and West, MAWANI added.
